Webinar: Introducing DxFLEX
The new 13-colour IVD flow cytometer for both the routine and clinical research laboratoryModern therapies raise great challenges for Clinical Flow Cytometry. Whether diagnosing immunological disorders, monitoring patients under immunotherapy or for the early detection of risks and side effects, it is necessary to use individual panels with numerous antibodies per tube.
Prof. Dr Ulrich Sack evaluated the suitability of DxFLEX to facilitate the work of the routine laboratory. The DxFLEX is the first routine cytometer that overcomes limitations of traditional PMT-based flow cytometers by using avalanche photodiodes instead. The wide measuring range and intuitive data processing enable a fast and easy introduction or modification of new measurement approaches. The DxFLEX was run in everyday practice and compared with traditional cytometers. Using previously established approaches, the DxFLEX minimized validation effort and workload was easier to structure. It was beneficial to be able to analyze complex samples afterwards. Within a few days of training, an employee could work independently with the system. The introduction of the device has been a success.
Understand the advantages of the APD technology over traditional PMT based flow cytometers and how this enables high complexity flow cytometry; how DxFLEX can adopt existing clinical workflows and how it compares to traditional flow cytometers for the routine and clinical research labs in Prof. Dr Ulrich Sacks talk.
