Installation Procedure for Kaluza Analysis

  1. Once you click the link, the Kaluza Analysis Setup 2.3.0.20286.exe file will download to your computer.

  2. After completing the download, verify the integrity of the file (recommended step).

    1. Launch Windows PowerShell. Type “Windows PowerShell” on your task bar and click on Open.

    2. In Power Shell, compute the hash value for the installer file you downloaded using the Get FileHash cmdlet, by typing

      Get-FileHash ‘C:\Users\user1\Downloads\Kaluza Analysis 2.3.0.20268 Setup.exe’ -Algorithm SHA512 | Format-List

      NOTE: ‘C:\Users\user1\Downloads\Kaluza Analysis 2.3.0.20268 Setup.exe’ is an example exe file path. Please replace with the path to the exe file in your computer.

    3. Check that the SHA512 output matches the value in the below table, for the product that you downloaded, this confirms that the file has not been corrupted, tampered with or altered from the original.

  3. Once the download is verified, open the file to proceed with the installation.

    1. The Kaluza Analysis Installer dialog box appears. As demonstrated in the dialog box, the application is dependent upon successful installation of three other prerequisites. If any of the three prerequisites have not already been installed on your computer, a red X will appear next to the name of each product that needs to be installed. Install each pending prerequisite, one at a time, by selecting the Install link, and then following all prompts and accepting all default settings for each pending installation. When a product has been successfully installed, a green check will display next to the product name.
    2. When all three prerequisites have been installed the Kaluza Setup dialog box appears. Read the license agreement and select the check box signifying that you accept the terms of the license agreement. Select the Install Kaluza Analysis button located in the lower right corner of the dialog box. NOTE: The Install Kaluza Analysis button will not be enabled until all three products have been installed.

    3. The Kaluza Analysis Setup wizard appears:

      1. In the Custom Setup dialogue, you can decide whether to install User Management and Audit Trail feature or not.
      2. If the User Management and Audit Trail feature is installed in the previous step, you must provide the system administrator information and backup the administrator credential file.
  4. Once the installation process is complete, select Finish. The Kaluza Analysis icon (red) should now be located on your desktop. Double-click on the icon to launch the software.

Installing the User Management and Audit Trail feature in step 3.c.i will cause the login window to appear when starting Kaluza.
