A video on sealing Quick-Seal tubes.

Quick-Seal tubes from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences provide a permanent seal that is safe and reliable.
Before sealing a Quick-Seal tube, ensure you have filled the tube up to the stem with your sample.
Before getting started, you will need a cordless tube topper, a seal former, a seal guide, a heat sink, and a removal tool.
To seal your tube, remove the tube topper from its charging stand, ensuring the button is turned to the off or locked position.
Place the seal former on your tube. You may choose to seal with the seal guide or without the seal guide. Here, we will demonstrate without the seal guide.
Turn the tube topper on.
Press the push button and wait a few seconds for the tip to heat.
Apply the tip of the tube topper vertically to the seal former, trying to keep the tube topper as vertical as possible. Press down gently until the plastic melts down, taking care not to touch the shoulder regions of the tube. If using a seal guide, the guide should move down until it rests on the tube shoulder. When the seal guide has moved to the correct position, remove the tube topper.
Place the small end of the heat sink over the cap for two to three seconds while plastic cools. Do not let the seal former pop up. Now remove the heat sink. When the seal former cools, remove it by hand or with the removal tool.
After completing your seal, squeeze the tube gently to test if the seal leaks. If it leaks, try resealing it. The tube is now ready for centrifugation.
