Principles of Flow Cytometry
This course exposes the learner to some of the most important elemental concepts of flow cytometry in general, including some essential hardware configurations and some of the physics involved in system operation.
What will I learn?
- To define elements such as fluorescence, hydrodynamic focusing, forward scatter, side scatter, peak, integral, amplification, and noise discrimination
- To identify general hardware components
- Types or regions and their characteristics
- Effect of pressure, high voltage and gains
