What is the difference between cGMP and GPM?
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice—guidelines followed by over 100 countries. According to 21 CDR Parts 210, 211, 600, 610 and 830 (devices), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) influence the manner in which biopharmaceuticals, other drugs and medical devices are manufactured. This requires following standard operating procedures (SOPs), process validation, equipment calibration/validation and trained professionals responsible for maintaining a clean/sterile producton environment. cGMP reminds particpating countries that all guidelines must be followed by using the latest/most current production processes.
