Following isolation, what are the main methods for analyzing EVs?

Researchers first determine the protein concentration (BSA assay), then antibody confirmation (i.e. CD63) using either western blot or capture beads. Populations are also characterized by size and dispersity using dynamic light scatter (DLS), a high-resolution analysis by either nanotracking analysis or analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC). Finally, if researchers want the ability to look at the single-cell level and determine multiple markers, they would use nanoscale flow cytometry.
