Protein Production在目前几种主要的蛋白质纯化方法中,仅有离心方法可以在无介质条件下对蛋白质进行纯化,保证蛋白质在纯化过程中保持其天然状态。这一点非常关键,因为蛋白质的构象和功能通常会在纯化过程中与膜或磁珠发生相互作用后而发生变化,从而改变纯化蛋白的目标特性。在无介质条件下,比如在高速离心机中, 不仅可以按分子量的差异性进行提纯,还可以按密度和构象的差异性进行提纯,而单一的膜纯化技术则无法同时提供这么多纯化方式。离心机可以提供蛋白样品纯化(必要时定量)所需的精确离心力,供研究或治疗工艺使用。
